ON THE EDGE OF LIFE - short film
"On the Edge of Life" is a short documentary movie about how we take care of those who took care of us. The film shows the life of Lia Regina, a 93-year-old woman who needs 24-hour care, and her daughter Liane, an actress who tries to balance her professional life with taking care for her mother. How can we try to summarize a relationship of love, dependence and guilt? The film honestly and without romanticizing shows a caring relationship that is complex and, at the same time, full of affection as a response to the love received.
